The Wordle Postgame Report is a brief analysis of a game of Wordle, the five-letter-word guessing game now owned by the New York Times. If you do not play Wordle, Indignity encourages you to please skip this. The existence of the Wordle Postgame Report does not constitute an endorsement of playing Wordle, not playing Wordle, or of the New York Times.

THOUGHT ABOUT STARTING with GRAPE, didn't feel like checking whether I'd already used it (though I had), and went with GRIPE. Nothing but a yellow E. BEAST got a still-yellow E, yellow S, and green T. GRIPE had already ruled out UPSET, so I moved the S to the beginning, with SHEET. Now the E was green too, but the S was still yellow. Back to words with -SET. RESET was already out for two different reasons. What could there be but ONSET? Hardly worth how long it took to get going.

The Wordle Postgame Report will be posted semi-regularly on the website of the Indignity newsletter, or possibly even daily if people turn out to want to read it.
