The Wordle Postgame Report is a brief analysis of a game of Wordle, the five-letter-word guessing game now owned by the New York Times. If you do not play Wordle, Indignity encourages you to please skip this item. The existence of the Wordle Postgame Report does not constitute an endorsement of playing Wordle, not playing Wordle, or of the New York Times.

I WAS SO happy to have thought of MOLAR as a starting word that I'd written it down the day before and saved it. It went 0 for 5. Time for a whole new start, with SPENT, which got a green S, green N, and yellow T. ST- at the front, then, and some other vowel in the middle. STINK? Or STING? Or STUNG or STUNK. I will keep on choosing STINK until it wins, but this was not the day; the K came up gray. STING, then. A pettily painful end.

The Wordle Postgame Report will be posted semi-regularly on the website of the Indignity newsletter, or possibly even daily if people turn out to want to read it.
