The Wordle Postgame Report is a brief analysis of a game of Wordle, the five-letter-word guessing game now owned by the New York Times. ONE CONFIDENT STEP after another. CHORD planted a green O in the middle of the word. STOVE got a green S and T to go before it—and, maybe just as valuably, eliminated the E. STO- seemed like a configuration that could go on indefinitely, but with STONE or STOLE gone, it wasn't as bad as it looked. STOA- or STOI- didn't look likely. STOO-? Maybe, but consonant combinations first. STONK is not yet a word. STOMP? Crushed it underfoot.

The Wordle Postgame Report will be posted semi-regularly on the website of the Indignity newsletter, or possibly even daily if people turn out to want to read it.
